Are you sure you are only trying to bind to the vserver ip address and not
0.0.0.0? take a look at my.cnf (i think that is the name of the mysqld
configuration file)

This is actually normal...since i think the httpd will connect via the
file socket! /tmp/.sock.tmp? (or something like that also..heheh...)

Im sorry i didnt have time to check if those are the real *exact*
filenames! :o/
