this is a general question to everyone:

I'm interessted in how small in terms of filesize everyone got it's
vservers, without loosing the ability
to compile general stuff (i.e. because of cleaning up the libs).

the smallest I got is about 332 MB with gcc 3.2 (probably the biggest
part), apache

2.5M ./sbin
6.2M ./bin
2.4M ./etc
291M ./usr
26M ./var
4.3M ./lib
0 ./proc
4.0k ./dev
28k ./root
4.0k ./home
4.0k ./tmp
332M .
