Hi have a look at the freezer cgroup. You should have something like
these files:

/dev/cgroup/<guest_name>/freezer.parent_freezing
/dev/cgroup/<guest_name>/freezer.state
/dev/cgroup/<guest_name>/freezer.self_freezing
