Yes, personally I do too.

But in this case I will need a generic tool to tar.gz hosts and then be
able to move/install them as vserver clients as automatically as possible.

Any takers for a partly sponsored project? I can provide requirement
specs in case someone is interested.
I would think such a tool could be of interest for the vserver project
in general?
