Hi Folks,
I am running vserver 2.6.33-vs2.3.0.36.30 on a dual opteron box to
server a couple of webservers.
I used to have resource limits for each guest in place, which was fine
for a while but as two of the guests need occassionally a bit more ram,
I am looking for a solution to have a kind of this cpu/memory limiting:
* assign each guest a minimum of ram/cpu
* gurantee that the root context always has enough resource to enable
terminal access
in the past, I had the problem that one of the guests went mad, the
oom-killer started to kill the guests process and it took me several
minutes to get into the box and do a vserver stop because the load went up.
Any suggestions?
Oliver
