Say I have 10 vServers, 5 with 512MB ram, and 6 with 2048MB ram.

If I want to dedicate 1 of each set to a certain processor core
(eg: if they are all identical servers, but one is a 'master' or
specialist instance with extra resource requirements and should
not be impacted by adding additional server), then I may wish
to allocate dedicated CPU cores for those two (ie: one vServer
within each set of five).

I believe this type of resource management is what the kernel
documentation refers to when it says that cgroups are a
'multi-hierarchy, multi-subsystem' approach to resource control.
