2.6.30 did some major changes in the quota area
(quota seems to have finally moved into the vfs layer)
so it will take some time to adapt ...
(dlimits are affected by that)
most likely, there will be a dlimit-less release
for testing soon, but as I'm kind of swamped with
non Linux-VServer work, and contributions have
become scarce, don't count on it ...

as long as you userspace can cope with the kernel
startup (i.e. initramfs + udev) there should be no
problem with 'older' distributions on the host, and
there are definitely no problems with older distros
as guests
