i've been tracking oliver pinter's 2.6.22 git repositories (kernel source
tree & patches ). his 184.108.40.206 & 220.127.116.11 releases seem to only
include bugfixes , but his 18.104.22.168, which he recently advertised
on lkml , mentions a security fix.
his patches for 22.214.171.124 & 126.96.36.199 both cleanly apply to
188.8.131.52-vs184.108.40.206 (except for EXTRAVERSION in the Makefile, but that's
cosmetic & expected). i haven't rebooted my server yet to run either
version, but i don't expect any problems when i do.
