Combined with a lo interface definition in 0 and the real one in 1
it does the trick.

Yeah, I'm using something similar on my internal semi-production box,
too. Still with 2.0, mind ya. But that above example is the way to go
for real and until 2.4. Never mind that you still want to have a nice
entry in hosts to map the name to that IP.
