Hello,

I've installed Ubuntu dapper on a new laptop (Hitachi M40-307)
according to page https://wiki.ubuntu.com/VServer
$ uname -r
2.6.15-24-386
Thanks to the excellent work done there. It helps me a lot to put
vservers at work on the laptop that I use to evangelize customers and
propects. I use sarge on production servers but ubuntu is a convenient
choice for my laptop. (I'm not a technical guy first)

Everything seems to work straight out the box except that I lost my
wifi connection between the original and the patched kernels.
The wifi card is recognized by both (lspci) :
0000:02:04.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc.: Unknown
device 001a (rev 01)
But I guess the module is messed up.
Is it a bug in the ubuntu-vserver package or is it normal behavior?
Should I rebuild the package or modprobe something ?

Before I dig any further and make some tries to put it at work anyway,
I'm wondering if this makes sens to get different modules lists since
the patched kernel is supposed to be issued from the official Dapper
distribution. For many of you this might not really be a big problem to
get it fixed, but for me it represents the "bleeding edge" of my
knowhow ;-) I guess the procedure is now so simple that I did not ask
myself about the right questions.

Thank you for any help
Dominique
