hi,

i hope someone can give me a hint for this problem, i encountered it on
several installations and had nothing found on the archives.

if the vserver is stopped the first time, everything seems normal. no
errors. but if i start it again, it seems to be somehow broken because
all lockfiles are still there.

Starting system log daemon: syslogdmknod: `/dev/xconsole': File exists
chown: `root:adm': invalid user
Starting MTA: touch: cannot touch
`/var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated.tmp': Permission denied
chown: `root:Debian-exim': invalid user
/usr/sbin/update-exim4.conf: line 260:
/var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated.tmp: Permission denied

i have 2 installations with kernel 2.6.15 patch 2.01 (copied the kernel
and modules over). on one system its working normal, on the other its
broken. the util-vserver version is: 0.30.210-7, but the problem happens
also with other versions. both installations are debian sid, i also
tried sarge. the guests are debian sarge.

regards
