yup, I see a few options there ...
a) the easy one
pay a visit to the #vserver irc channel, with the
lirc patch handy and politely ask me to make the
adjustments for you ;)
b) the salutary one
look where vx_rmap_pid() is used in the vserver
kernel sources, discover that find_task_by_pid()
was renamed to find_task_by_real_pid and instead
of the original there is a version doing some
reverse mapping ... then decide which one is
appropriate for lirc_{un,}register_plugin() and
add the proper includes for the code ...
c) the smart one
figure that the call to find_task_by_pid() is
somewhat fishy and replace it by a better design
