Hello.
This mail to try and have a final word on one of the
problems I encountered while building a Debian guest.
Running "mount" within the guest outputs:
/dev/hdv1 on / type ufs (defaults)
none on /proc type proc (defaults)
none on /tmp type tmpfs (size=16m,mode=1777)
none on /dev/pts type devpts (gid=5,mode=620)
which is indeed the contents of "mtab":
/dev/hdv1 / ufs defaults 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /tmp tmpfs size=16m,mode=1777 0 0
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
BUT where does that "/dev/hdv1" come from???
Note: I didn't specify such an entry anywhere (it is
not in "/etc/vservers/template/fstab"), I don't use
ufs, it is not even compiled in the kernel:
$ grep UFS /boot/config-2.6.11-vs1.9.5-rc1+g1
# CONFIG_UFS_FS is not set
So I would assume that it is hardcoded somewhere...
I guess that it isn't supposed to be so (?).
Best regards,
Gilles
