Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that the uptime of
a slightly loaded machine, a dual Xeon PIII w.
2GB RAM, did reach 63days. Unfortunately there
was a need to reboot because the USB controller
was disabled in the BIOS and USB is needed for backups
to an external HD.
Kernel 2.6.9 + VServer 1.9.3 + util-vserver 0.30.195
+ ext3 are in use.
The machine is running Debian sarge and four virtual servers.
1) Apache httpd 2.0.52 as virtual host http proxy,
pdnsd dns proxy and postfix as smtp proxy.
2) Apache lenya publishing system on Java 1.4.2_05-b04.
3) Apache Tomcat 5.0.25 serving an Apache Forrest application
on Java 1.4.2_05-b04.
4) Apache Cocoon on Jetty servlet engine on Java 1.4.2_05-b04
+ Hyperwave IS/6 + Oracle 9i w/ aio test installation.
Everything works flawlessly. No problems since its installation.
Getting used to the totally different configuration scheme of
the new tools was the hardest part ;-)
Keep up the great work!
