At a time long ago in place other than the current Linux-Vserver I seem to
remember there was a 10 character limit on the vserver names. There is
also a nine character or so hard-coded display limit in all things
'ifconfig'-wise.
And so I've exhausted my memory and knowledge so this may all have
changed.
