A good start would be
| # cp -a /usr/lib/util-vserver/distributions/fc2 /etc/vservers/.distributions/suse91
| # echo '<your suse repository>' >/etc/vservers/.distributions/suse91/apt/sources.list
now, go into /etc/vservers/.distributions/suse91 and
- adapt 'pkgs/*'; these are very early packages which can be installed
with special ways:
* put '--can-fail' on top of the file to ignore failures
* put '--reinstall' on top of the file to force a reinstallation
(this might be needed because of broken NSS lookup (should be reduced
by using a dietlibc compiled version of util-vserver))
- adapt 'apt/rpmpriorities'; 'vserver ... build' will execute
| apt-get dist-upgrade
so this file should contain the target package(s) for the vserver
(e.g. 'httpd' for webserver, or 'krb5-servers' for krb5 servers)
- adapt the init* scripts
After doing this, you should be able to execute
| vserver ... build -m apt-rpm ... -- -d suse91
I myself do not have experiences with SuSE nor do I know a near
mirror. Therefore, I can not tell more details now.
