best would be to remove those commands ;)

as they do not make much sense in an install
procedure, because either the devices exist,
or it doesn't make sense to have them ...

another option would be to grant CAP_MKNOD
for that vserver, which immediatly voids
security for that specific vserver, so you
should be careful with that ...
