Just a tiny question. Will earlier tools work with
this release too or?
I also get this problem when patching against the Debian kernel.
START applying patch "Virtual private servers and security contexts"
Testing whether "Virtual private servers and security contexts" patch for 2.4.22 applies (dry run):
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file fs/Makefile.rej
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file include/net/ip.h.rej
1 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file include/net/route.h.rej
1 out of 5 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file kernel/sysctl.c.rej
1 out of 7 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file net/ipv4/udp.c.rej
"Virtual private servers and security contexts" patch for 2.4.22 does not apply cleanly
Patch /usr/src/kernel-patches/i386/apply/ctx failed.
Hit return to Continue
make: *** [stamp-debian] Interrupt
I assume that this has to do with the Debian patched kernels.
Is this something that can be solved easily? The 1.00 versions
did work just fine.
