Hi,
Using Dev Release 1.1.4 with linux kernel 2.4.22.
This is what I came across.
When enabling "CONFIG_BLK_DEV_VROOT" as module I get this error:
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/root/Vserver/1.1.4/linux-2.4.22/include -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common
-fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i686 -DMODULE
-DMODVERSIONS -include
/root/Vserver/1.1.4/linux-2.4.22/include/linux/modversions.h -nostdinc
-iwithprefix include -DKBUILD_BASENAME=vroot -c -o vroot.o vroot.c
vroot.c:265: invalid preprocessing directive name
vroot.c: In function `vroot_init':
vroot.c:265: invalid #-line
vroot.c:266: parse error before `max_vroot'
make[2]: *** [vroot.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/Vserver/1.1.4/linux-2.4.22/drivers/block'
make[1]: *** [_modsubdir_block] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/Vserver/1.1.4/linux-2.4.22/drivers'
make: *** [_mod_drivers] Error 2
And as static:
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/root/Vserver/1.1.4/linux-2.4.22/include -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common
-fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i686
-nostdinc -iwithprefix include -DKBUILD_BASENAME=vroot -c -o vroot.o vroot.c
vroot.c:265: invalid preprocessing directive name
vroot.c: In function `vroot_init':
vroot.c:265: invalid #-line
vroot.c:266: parse error before `max_vroot'
make[3]: *** [vroot.o] Error 1
