hi,
i`m using proftpd in the vservers.
I do it with a apt-get install proftpd ;-)
It`s version 1.2.5 as i think ( Debian 3.0 R1 stable ).
There is no problem or anything.
Greetings
Oliver

Subject: [Vserver] VServer vs Proftpd
Hi,
a quick followup on proftpd problems, workaround is to use chbind either
for proftpd or for whole vserver.
Although muddleftpd and other ftpds work ok with vserver I think the
problem is with ctx...
( proftpd spews error messages about not being able to bind to port '0',
when application tries to bind to port '0', kernel should give it back the
socket for any available port. Seems like this semantics is broken with
ctx )
Anyone clairvoyant enough to locate an error based on this muddy
description?
regards,
