I am trying to bind 2 IPs to one vserver with no success

It will only bind to the second ip

my set is as follow:
HOST: RH 7.3 kernel 2.4.20 ctx 17
vsever: Debian woody

vserver conf file is as follow:

S_HOSTNAME="lifetimeopportunity.com"
IPROOT="69.0.222.253 69.0.222.254"
IPROOTDEV="eth0"
ONBOOT="yes"
S_NICE=""
S_FLAGS="lock nproc"
ULIMIT="-H -u 256 -n 1024"
S_CAPS="CAP_NET_RAW"

# *NOT* DNS domain name, for NIS only
S_DOMAINNAME=""

I also tried with
IPROOT="eth0:69.0.222.253 eth0:69.0.222.254"

But with no success

Please advise
