So, at least in my experience, that is only "mostly right". For example,
with just those devices, try and start `links`. It will segfault because
it is trying to open '/dev/tty0'. Perhaps I've got something setup
incorrectly?

Well, I surcame the same problem by hardlinking /dev/tty0 to /dev/tty. I don't know if there might be any glitch but at least it works out fine. Greethings, Debby
