I don't know the answer, but have you checked the capability.h header
file in the source code? It gives a list of all the possible
capabilities. (I forgot the exact name; cap.h?)

It may be CAP_NET_ADMIN (just a wild guess).

Can anyone tell me what permissions are needed within a vserver .conf

for the vs root user to have access to iptables?

I'm looking to set up a demonstration of a basic linux failover / load
balanced cluster which is much easier to do with 1 machine running 8
virtual
servers than it is to set up 2 directors, 2 servers and 2 file servers!
